Winter
There is something deeply calming about winter scenes.
Patrick Samuël’s winter paintings reflect his origins in the Swiss Alps. They capture the great silence or the force of a snowstorm. Snowfall is the quietest sound that humans can still hear. In his pictures, one gets the feeling of being able to hear this soft sound.
